We heard you. LeadingAge knows the workforce crisis in aging services is real and requires action on many fronts. There is no single solution to unprecedented workforce challenges, but we work alongside our members to develop and advocate for a wide range of solutions to ensure America’s older adults and families can get the care and services they need.

Leaders of Color Network

The LeadingAge Leaders of Color Network is a professional networking group for senior, mid-level, and emerging leaders of color employed by LeadingAge member organizations. The network is designed to support and facilitate career advancement in the field of aging services.

Student Program Portal

The LeadingAge Student Program includes opportunities for students to learn about rewarding careers in aging services. Right now we’re accepting applications for the 2023 Summer Enrichment Program, a 10-week immersive internship hosted by a LeadingAge member organization.

Opening Doors to the Aging Services Workforce

LeadingAge understands the urgency of your workforce needs. That’s why we expanded our Opening Doors to Aging Services initiative to explore potential employees’ perceptions of aging services and how best to talk to them about jobs in our sector.
